LIMLL Week 3 Recap
Huntington, NY – The 2026 Long Island Metro Lacrosse Leagues season has officially reached the midway point, and the competition across all four divisions continues to deliver. Week 3 brought another strong slate of games, tight finishes, overtime drama, and statement wins as teams continue to battle for position in their respective divisions.
With the regular- season moving quickly, every game is becoming more important. Teams are now looking to separate themselves, build consistency, and establish their place in the standings as the playoff race begins to take shape. The margin for error is getting smaller, and the intensity across the league is only expected to rise from here.

In the Jones Beach Division, Pink Panthers delivered a strong 14-5 win over Team 7-11, while Mixed Nuts edged Spartans, 7-6, in a one-goal battle. Fleasters also picked up a tight 9-8 win over TRAstrong, and Gabagoals continued their strong play with a 14-6 victory over Wreck-it Ralphs.

The L.I. Sound Division continued to show its depth and competitiveness. Bulls LC defeated WestConn Wolves, 7-6, while The Goons earned a 10-4 win over The Pipeline. Suffolk Sluggers held off Geno Foundation, 7-6, Mighty Mullets defeated Bullseye Beverage, 8-6, and The Juicers picked up an 11-8 win over Leaky Lifeboats.

In the Montauk Division, The Gooners earned a 7-4 win over Silver Bullets, while Pat’s Place defeated Laxaholics, 8-3. Bethpage Boozers remain undefeated with a 10-4 win over Fellas, and The Sloths made their season debut with an 8-4 victory over Wise Guys. The Bandits closed out one of the most exciting games of the week with a dramatic 12-11 overtime win over Honchos.

The Orient Division also saw important results as teams continue to position themselves for the stretch run. Pond Boys defeated Lock Jaw LC, 12-6, while The Pack held off FDNY LC, 10-9, in a close matchup. El Dirt Stars earned a hard-fought 6-5 win over Cheddar LC, and Chick-fil-A picked up a 1-0 forfeit win over Shuckin’ Oysters.
Looking Ahead
As the LIMLL moves into the second half of the regular-season, the parity across the league is as balanced as it has been in recent years. Consistency will become the difference-maker. The teams that can bring intensity each week, finish close games, and build off strong performances will put themselves in the best position for the postseason. All teams will be required to provide their final rosters before the start of Week 5. With the playoff race heating up and the level of competition rising, the second half of the LIMLL regular season is set up to be fast, intense, and exciting.
