LIMLL Week 2 Recap
Huntington, NY – Week 2 of the Long Island Metro Lacrosse Leagues brought another exciting slate of games across all four divisions, as the league continues to build momentum heading toward the midway point of the regular-season. Every possession, every goal, and every matchup is starting to carry even more weight.
The competition across the league has been tight, and Week 2 proved just how balanced the LIMLL is this season. The week featured seven 1-goal victories, including several late-game battles and an overtime finish, showing that no division race is going to be easy. As teams push deeper into the schedule, establishing position within the division will be critical in the fight to secure playoff spots.
In the Jones Beach Division, close games were the story of the week. Mixed Nuts edged Pink Panthers, 9-8, Spartans held off Team 7-11, 14-13, TRAstrong defeated Wreck-it Ralphs, 7-6, and Gabagoals won another tight contest over Shaft Grabbers, 9-8. Fleasters also made a statement with an 8-3 win over Booze Bags.

The L.I. Sound Division saw several strong performances, led by Landsharks’ 12-2 win over Leaky Lifeboats and The Juicers’ 11-3 victory over Geno Foundation. Suffolk Sluggers picked up a huge 10-9 win over WestConn Wolves, while The Goons continued their strong start with a 10-7 win over Bullseye Beverage. Bulls LC also earned a 10-4 win over The Pipeline.

In the Montauk Division, Fellas LC delivered one of the biggest offensive performances of the week with a 14-4 win over Laxaholics. Honchos defeated Silver Bullets, 9-7, while Pat’s Place picked up a dramatic 8-7 overtime win over The Gooners. Bethpage Boozers also continued their strong play with a 9-3 victory over NCPD LC.

The Orient Division continued to bring plenty of action, highlighted by Lockjaw LC’s 7-6 win over Krystal Lacrosse and Chick-fil-A’s 9-8 victory over Popeyes LC. El Dirt Stars earned a 9-4 win over FDNY LC, Pond Boys had a dominant 18-1 performance over Seahawks, and Tropics LC defeated Shuckin’ Oysters, 9-3.
